A calculator is only worth publishing if its formula and its jurisdiction assumptions can be checked. These cannot be, yet.
CTC Calculator
The part people want — how CTC splits into basic, HRA and allowances — is COMPANY POLICY, not law. There is no statutory basic-to-CTC ratio in force to calculate from: the Code on Wages, 2019 would change this materially, and it is not yet commenced. A calculator that picks a "standard" split would be publishing an invented convention as if it were a rule. Buildable the moment the split is a visitor input rather than an assumption; not buildable as the thing people expect it to be.
Take-Home Salary Calculator
Requires income tax: slabs, old versus new regime, declared investments, surcharge and cess — all of which change with each Union Budget and depend on choices the visitor has not told us. Being wrong about somebody’s tax is a different order of harm from being wrong about a marketing number. Needs a maintained, dated slab table and an explicit regime choice before it can exist.
Leave Entitlement Calculator
Entitlement is set by each state’s Shops & Establishments Act, and the Factories Act, 1948 covers only factory workers. The per-state rules in data/locations.json are flagged as awaiting compliance-team verification, so the inputs this would need are not yet trustworthy. A national "leave calculator" would be wrong for most visitors in a way they could not detect.
HR Cost Calculator
ALREADY EXISTS at /resources/roi-calculator. Building a second one would split the same query between two pages and cannibalize both. Link to the existing one instead.
Payroll Compliance Calendar
The central dates are clear — PF ECR and ESI by the 15th, TDS deposit by the 7th, Form 24Q quarterly. Professional Tax remittance dates are set per state and differ, and those are exactly the ones this company’s multi-state positioning would make people rely on. A calendar covering only the central dates would be more misleading than none. Needs the verified per-state PT schedule.
